Demolition Days!

demolition days

Many of you know that I have been a part of my AMAZING church for the past 7 years. It has been a lot of fun and now the best part is approaching.

We are moving into our very own building!

There are so many reasons why this is awesome news:
1. No more setting up and tearing down on Sunday mornings. Yeah, that’s definitely at the top of the list!

2. We have a place to meet throughout the week. We will have a place for Growth Track, Life Groups (although mine is still meeting at my house), and other fun events.

3. I will have a pretty awesome office.

4. The Kidztown area is going to be decorated with fun themes and I can’t wait for the kids to have their own classrooms and their own place to hang out and have fun!

5. We will have a cafe area that is going to be so cool!

These are just a few reasons why I am excited. Our church is like a family and I know we all are so excited about this!

One of the things I love about my church is that we pull together as a group and get things done. We have had people coming out every night of the week to help with the reconstruction of our new building! It has been awesome! Here are a few pictures of what I like to call “Demolition Days.”

Even the kids are having fun working. Knocking down walls is always fun!

I don’t know what my Mother-in-Law is doing here, but it looks like she is working hard!

Even the little, little ones are getting their hands dirty.

Oh, and did I mention that our Assistant Pastor, Carl, has done the majority of the planning for this building. He came up with all of the plans. Then he changed them. Then he changed them again. Haha, but in all seriousness- he is SO great at what he does! Without him we would probably be meeting outside for the next year. Not to mention the fact that he has been at every work night so far. He is doing a great job!
